So we wanna get rid of the whole relayer thing in privacy protocols... I made a demo and proof of concept we can roll into @ZeraLabs

Did everyone have a good memorial day weekend? We are gonna be working on the fee signing and v3 updates. Who has been playing with the new UI over the weekend? @ZeraLabs
The SEC just closed its 2+ year investigation into the Zcash Foundation. No enforcement. No penalties. No mandated changes!
This is a victory for every builder working on privacy-preserving systems. ZK tech isn’t a threat. Its the FUTURE of financial infra
@ZeraLabs, we’re doubling down. Privacy is a feature, not a flaw. 🛡️
The best infrastructure is usually boring until it isn't.
Jito didn't go viral first. It became essential first.
$Zera is following that exact same path.
Offline zk cash + shielded stables.
Looks quiet now, hard to live without later.
I like to think @dev_skill_issue has used this song to represent going somewhere most people think is impossible (the moon) as most people think offline digital cash in a surveilled world is also impossible.
Building a bottle rocket in a garage - small team building a complex zk protocol with limited resources.
It looked stupid on the ground - low mc, tiny tvl looks unimpressive to outsiders.
But once it cleared the trees it flew. Exactly what $zera will do.
Taking a moment.
A year ago this was math on a whiteboard. Lattices, proofs, late nights, a thesis nobody asked for. The kind of work that historically only happens inside something like Bell Labs or early IBM... institutions with billions in funding and a mandate to turn theory into reality.
We did it w a small team.
Theoretical math → working product → real users. Not a deck. Not a roadmap. A thing that runs, that people use, that helps them.
Market cap doesn't measure that. Usage curves don't measure that. What measures it is the fact that it exists at all and that the team who built it is still here, still shipping, still hungry.
I'm proud of every person who got us here. And the best part: we're not done. We get to keep building.
Most micro caps die after a -93% from ATH.
$ZERA didn't.
Its bled for months, shaken out weak hands yet kept shipping in silence.
Think about jito on solana, it solved a problem so well that it became essential and most people didnt even notice until it was dominant.
Zera is doing the same thing just for privacy and it will soon be unavoidable. Very few projects survive a 93% drawdown while continuing to build.
This is not a coincidence.
@mert Isn’t it our job to make sure retail is aware of how perfect the blockchain is as a surveillance tool? There will still be a huge market for crypto with cash-equivalent properties when the rest of the world comes on-chain.
@ZeraLabs is fixing this.
Thanks to everyone who's been testing and giving feedback, helping us harden the new flow. 🤝
A few UI/UX improvements for the Dashboard are next, then focus shifts toward the ZERA mobile app and the full trustless offline flow.
ZERA Protocol V3 is here.
This is a major protocol and UX upgrade for ZERA Private Cash.
Users now see a single online private balance, with no manual split flow, as well as a separate offline private balance. Under the hood, the new 2-in-2-out circuit handles split, change, merge, dust absorption, and note consolidation automatically.
That means the wallet can feel simple on the surface, while the protocol keeps doing the hard ZK accounting underneath.
V3 also introduces a hardened stealth-note pipeline with per-note ownership keys, plus a cleaner separation between online spendable notes and offline vault notes — an important foundation for cold-storage notes and future offline payments.
This means:
✅ Cleaner UX
✅ Send any amount instantly
✅ Stronger note privacy
✅ Better wallet abstraction
✅ Built for offline payments
A full technical article breaking down the V3 architecture is coming soon.
Next up:
The additional asset drops, while development now shifts toward the ZERA mobile app and with it the full trustless offline flow.
True digital cash is not a feature. It’s a stack, and ZERA V3 is a major step forward.
Welcome to the new Zero Knowledge Era.
Give the ZERA Dashboard a try ⤵️
Exactly.
$ZERA isn’t trying to be the new shiny thing that pulls users away.
It’s a quiet privacy layer that established Solana apps/protocols will eventually integrate to keep their users once they realise they need it.
Shielded stables..
Solana founder @toly just flagged solana:8avjtjHAHFqp4g2RR9ALAGBpSTqKPZR8nRbzSTwZERA
This is the first major ecosystem nod since mainnet
Toly has previously tweeted about needing a "common privacy standard" on solana and i think this is him pointing towards the obvious choice.
It feels like solana:8avjtjHAHFqp4g2RR9ALAGBpSTqKPZR8nRbzSTwZERA has gone unnoticed for months and now its being noticed at the highest level, just in time for V3.
ZILLIONS.
