13 February 1935 | A Dutch Jewish girl, Eliza Louise Gazan, was born in Brielle.

In September 1943 she was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber.

February, 1942 | A member of the Jewish Order Service (Judischer Ordnungsdienst) with two children during the first deportations in the Litzmannstadt Ghetto (occupied Poland). It will last until May 1942 and 55k of the 200k Jews in the ghetto will be deported to the Kulmhof.

@martin_0401 Hi mate, just started viewing your bids (subscribed). Particularly liked the River Medlock series. Ever thought of doing a vid about the old tramroad connecting Leeds Liverpool canal with Preston? Plenty of heritage to go at there, but no tunnels to my knowledge!

@martin_0401 Most visible / striking feature is the old tram bridge which was built about 1800 but the wooden structure was replaced by a concrete one to the same design in the 1960s. Currently closed due to flood damage. Councils can't agree who is responsible I think 2/2

@martin_0401 There's a wiki for it https://t.co/fHl9KduT7T includes a section on features that are still visible. Pre Covid days I'd use it on a daily basis as walking route into work as it is most direct route. Intersected the street I grew up on, though no trace now. 1/2

@InThatRichEarth Hi. I don't know about that, but I do own a book about it, "Island of Barbed Wire" by Connory Chappel. It describes setting up of the camps, the hotels and guest houses used to house aliens and some personalities.
