@rideact The prior timed stop is 656 so by your logic I need to be at the stop 10 minutes early and boy I would love to do that but I don't have 10 extra minutes to spare every morning. I would love to have the OX back (another one you couldn't run on time either).
@rideact another day another bus leaving early. Today's 704am W, which I have to take because you deleted the OX, consistently shows up early. Today it was 2 minutes early and despite me sprinting after it, it didn't even stop at the curb. Just kept on rolling.
@rideact You all can keep believing that saying that makes it ok, but there is ZERO reason for a 7am bus to be anything other than exactly on time at every stop. There is functionally no traffic. As riders we want consistency and predictability in our commute. Start taking easy wins here.
@rideact This driver for the 31 is actually waiting at stops when he is too early! And he got an extra rider because of it!
This one trick will improve ridership by a ton. I'm telling you.
@rideact Ever since you got rid of the OX for the dumbest reasons imaginable, I have to get out for an even earlier bus but if it comes early I just can't make it.
@rideact But that two year change process actually made it worse. Service is worse. I don't know who it got better for, but it's not people in Alameda.
@rideact bus 1688 just skipped the harbor bay stop. I walked right up to the bus and he drove right past me. I ran to the other end of the lot and caught him and he still wouldn't let me on. I stood in the exact same spot where he parked on Tuesday and he just flat ignored me.
@rideact Also while we are at it, at least a dozen people are left behind in Alameda every morning by the first O bus. You killed two commuter busses and surprise surprise now there isn't enough space for everyone. We all just want you to be consistent. It's literally all we ask.
@rideact No. It was the bay farm ferry stop. It happened literally right before I tweeted you. With the bus number, I suspect you can piece the rest together.
@rideact While we are on the subject, why do you have two different versions of this route with the same line designation? Maybe make it easier on everyone than calling both routes the 31?
@rideact I am at a complete loss. How do you make a mistake, have someone run you down, and still refuse to let me on. The East Bay service is completely unreliable since you changed the service lineup.
@rideact why can't the early morning OX just be ON TIME? Got to the stop almost 5 minutes early but it already came. This kind of inconsistency *ruins* my morning. Your riders want consistent, dependable timings on their commute. There is no reason for this variance at 717 am.
@SpamRoss@NumeralTax About time. I have, uh, *experience* with them. I'd love to see what you are building. We're small, but if it's good I will happily refer our customers to you. Also, we are a fulfillment solution that doesn't suck the life out of the brand. It sounds like we have a similar ethos.
@rideact I'm so tired of literally running from my house to the bus stop on days I need the OX to try and get there a few minutes early just to see it already left. I was 2 or 3 minutes early this morning but once again it either isn't running or it left early.
