In Virginia, there is a new law effective July 1, 2023!
As an expansion of the current "Move Over" law, drivers must now #MoveOver or #SlowDown when possible for any vehicle on the side of the road with flashing red, blue, amber, or hazard lights.

Early this morning, units were dispatched for a working structure fire in the 900 block of Opequon Avenue. First arriving unit reported active fire in the kitchen and ceiling area. Crews extinguished the fire and checked for extension. Red Cross was contacted for the residents.
