Well done to everyone who contributed to our school Spring Fair. We raised over £1600 which helps provide enrichment activities for children in our school.
World Autism Day
We are recognising World Autism Day on Friday 31st March. To mark this day, we are asking everyone to come in non-school uniform wearing blue.
We will be finding out more about what it means to be autistic and how we can help each other.
We're looking forward to welcoming parents or family members from our Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 classes for the family egg decorating event this afternoon.
Please come to the main door at 1.45pm WITH ALL ITEMS (including and egg!) to start decorating.
Have an egg-citing time!
Please note that if your child is at after school club tomorrow, they must be collected from the main reception door as the Spring Fair will be on in the hall.
Please remember that there will be no apparatus group and the after school club will be Film Club only.
Congratulations to Lleyton in Year 6. He is the North East regional prize winner for Pearson's Twist in a Tale writing competition with his fantastic story.
You can hear his interview on Durhamonair which is due to be broadcast Wednesday 11am
World Book Day - Friday 3rd March 2023
We will be celebrating books and stories with an awesome reading carousel with stories told by our Year 6 storytellers.
We invite everyone to wear pyjamas for the day.
We welcome author, Miles Salter to our school on Thursday. He is a multi-talented story teller, poet and musician and will be working with years 3,4,5 and 6 to help us build a love and enthusiasm for creative writing. You can find more about Miles at https://t.co/HRsTS0GRrv
Toy Swop - Friday 18th Nov
Please send any pre-loved/unused toys into school for our Toy Swop.
Parents can buy toys within the hall, without the children, from 2pm.
Children can visit our Toy Swop after school from 3.15pm with an adult with tokens given on Thurs.
Thanks to @CDDFRS County Durham and Darlington Fire & Rescue Services for an interesting, fun and important morning learning about fire safety for Bonfire Night, with Year 6. Remember to keep safe and follow the Fireworks Code.
