Hi Barry.
The only thing that stops me killing myself is talking about it.
We’re all doing what we can to stay alive through this absolute shitshow, & I’m seeking attention because the last time I didn’t I ended up on the wrong side of a bridge.
Thanks though, you seem great.
West end FOH story for you a man once said to me he was going to throw acid In my face. This after I asked him and his partner to leave for abuse to staff and other people, and distracting other audience members.
I’m new to the world of theatre. But sad and disappointed tonight at the state of some peoples arrogance and disrespect while at a show.
Completely ruined #TheBodyguard, singing over the actors, to the point of them cancelling the show & police being called 🤦♂️😢 #Manchester
I worked in the west end on a show which had pop music in it. Take this down and apologise to the people who work FOH in theatres and are abused and belittled every single day by rude, aggressive and sometimes violent audiences.
Got home to my Gran’s after last night’s show, and had this DM (it didn’t even have his name).
Bit of advice; don’t troll someone - it’s pathetic. But especially don’t troll someone whose gig you weren’t even at, and is VERY good at detective work 🕵️♀️
Silly little Gabriel x
After suffering a stroke last month following a performance of Mandela @youngvictheatre, actor @adampearceuk talks exclusively to The Stage about his fear that he would never work again and how industry support has helped him on the road to recovery https://t.co/a7IeMJRXPE
“I’m at the top of my game and have been for a while and I still have to work two other jobs. It’s exhausting. I can’t afford a ticket to see the show I’m in"
Tomorrow, the campaign launches.
Watch this space.
