One of our members, @RuthGeorge6, attended yesterday's event on the proposed battery facility at Furness Vale and reported back on what she learned.
The energy storage installation is being proposed for Gowhole, close to the site where energy giant Kronos proposed a solar farm.
This afternoon I attended an information event from Novus Energy about the proposed battery storage site at Gowhole, just off Marsh Lane between New Mills and Furness Vale.
David Jackson's latest book is now on sale at Footsteps, Whaley Bridge, and of course, from our online bookshop: https://t.co/j4DSS9da4v where you can browse our many local history titles. "Glimpses of Whaley Bridge" looks at many aspects of life in the 19th century. #Derbyshire
