Covid and Ukraine have arisen since the 2019 election, so there has been no electoral mandate for actions taken by Johnson, Truss or Sunak.

I keep reading, "Boris has a mandate." Surely wrong. At the 2019 election the Conservative Party got a mandate because they won most seats. Regardless, surely they need to govern recognising that the majority of people who voted in 2019, didn't vote Conservative.
