@Aameridoll@jenotruther@melvv145 Haha, no you don't but you're free to think that way. Even a woman like me fails to understand, why insulting each other is somehow an exception under different rules.
A terminology doesn't shield you from it. Why not invent a new word for feminist, it be better that way.
@Aameridoll@jenotruther@melvv145 I'm not going to further participate in the argument, other than to drop that origin does not dictate the meaning.
The meaning of the language does. If origin matter you wouldn't be using feminist as it is coin by men to support women.
@Cyderene Hsr fandom do not represent us sorry, not all Fujos consume the same content. Let alone participate the same toxicity.
Just putting this out there, because we shouldn't be engaging it who's hypocrital than others like a game of ping pong.
@Here4AuthManga While it is fine to say as "I feel like it should be improved," in the way you wrote it however: you indicate that there is bad writing, but uncertain in what way.
Basically it's a claim, and you donβt really have it in writing to support the claim that was stated.
@Here4AuthManga Yes I understand that, but here's where I draw the line on an opinion and trying to state a fact.
Because you brought up that the show is not showing enough in regards to Jinshi actions. Because it risk as you stating it's there, but no clue of the form you're saying.
@Here4AuthManga While I can understand you were vindicated for your opinions, it doesnβt help for the literature that you like, when it is also facing the same unreasonableness. It doesn't create respect for the literature, in both reputation and the relationship you had with it.
@Here4AuthManga And secondly, I'm never in the position to judge why you're wrong on those text because of it subjective nature. Will there be impolite comments? Maybe so, I can't really dismiss that. But, I don't believe it is enough to also dismiss the bad faith that's been going on either.
@Here4AuthManga See that's where the issue lies, I'm not blaming you for this just so we're clear.
You're allowing the discourse affects the enjoyment of the show, and you need to set a boundary setting. You won't be able to enjoy media, in an platform that rewards it.
@mysmolblueberry@Here4AuthManga@Hobikage_spam Precisely because Jinshi holds more power that it becomes a problem, that's in part is intentional. While Jinshi does holds a position of authority and understands responsibility, he holds immature and frankly ignorant of the lowborn. He is to unlearn those habits in due time.
@Here4AuthManga Okay you do see that, but I'm honestly mixed signal. Here's how I see your comments okay, you donβt necessarily hate the show. However you're also at the same time, donβt defend it from haters of AD.
Instead you want this to be a discussion about the fandom, not the anime.
@Here4AuthManga How is it not showing that it's not bad as it should in the 30 percent? In what way are you expecting the show should be written, that satisfy the 30 percent metric?
And lastly, is it really fair to include the fans for approaching the medium wrong here?
@Isserra2@Here4AuthManga@Hobikage_spam Exactly the point, however I want to understand whether the user is critical about the show from the writing stand point or genuinely from personal beliefs. It has been established that AD is not shy when it comes to flawed characters. Where they utilize those flaws in writing.
@Isserra2@Here4AuthManga@Hobikage_spam The conversation is not to erase harrasment, I want you to understand that. Even you said that the show understood the seriousness of Jinshi's harrasment.
@catb45rkkk@lexotakup2 Why would that be directly copy real China? Are you guys like gate keeping instead of being concern about the legality? Is that what's going on?
@Here4AuthManga@Hobikage_spam So do you want to talk objectively about the story itself, or are you only here to vent about the toxic fandom: that is not part of the story its trying to tell. Which is by definition, readers bias.
@Here4AuthManga@Hobikage_spam Girl, I'm trying to make this conversation towards the anime as a whole. Not the fandom okay? If you have an issue with the fandom, great their loss.
But I'm trying to separate the literature from readers here, because readers "do not values the same thing as the author."
