The new Hyundai Venue shockingly misses out on some features, which I believe the brand has reserved for a future update. At the same time, they can’t price it at a premium, that too is an introductory price!

It’s more expensive than most of its rivals and even at par with some cars from a segment above. Case in point: the Honda Elevate - you can easily get its range-topping version for the price of the Venue.

However, the most impressive improvement is the ride quality. The damping is excellent, NVH levels have improved significantly and the rear doesn’t bounce around anymore.

List of missing features:

• No seat-back pockets
• No middle passenger headrest
• No passenger vanity mirror
• No panoramic sunroof
• No telescopic steering
• No air purifier
• No dash cam
• No door lock/unlock feature except for the driver

Some of the features that were already there have been deleted. Why this cost cutting when it’s priced at a premium?
