Good that @Wheels4Well could help get wheelchair returned that @metpoliceuk had impounded. @FrankRGardner used/used a similar wheel chair powered attachment Frank do you have the chief constable in your contacts book? Can you have a word with them? https://t.co/dslQTKmdkQ
Deeply moving video of the effect Long COVID can have on mobility and quality of life. We were privileged to speak to Darren earlier in his diagnosis about utility cycling (https://t.co/UFznhuQJPA) and we're sorry to see this latest update. https://t.co/vz6YPS4u7H
This is so good to see.
In my research, older adults always express desire to walk & wheel more from their front doors.
Fab to have @BeyondEmpowerUK supporting this
LAs need to address the infra:

- dropped kerbs

Wheels for Wellbeing exists to transform disabled people’s lives, transform attitudes to disability, and transform #ActiveTravel. But we need your help to do so. Please consider donating securely at: https://t.co/8RlphgLkRX
Infrastructure is critical. “Just squeeze through these barriers”, “just step over that kerb” might ‘just’ be impossible for a disabled person. We campaign for infrastructure that meets all our needs, leaving none behind. #ActiveTravel#MobilityJustice

A superb short piece from our Trustee @tricyclemayor on the essential need to manage ‘access frictions’ alongside inclusion needs in inclusive design. Prescient in light of current discussions on bus stop bypasses. Please read and consider sharing! https://t.co/OOtsEm9JFH

We were thrilled to join @IBikeLondon’s famous annual Santa Ride last Saturday. It was so good to see so many different people enjoying the route, on so many different cycles – rounding off the year in style! Extra thanks to @CycleHoop for their tremendous support.
🧵 1/2. According to today's transport stats, cycling continued to account for just 1% of all kilometres travelled in Great Britain in 2023. Together, we can change that! By making cycling a bigger part of everyday journeys, we can create cleaner, greener, healthier communities.
Wishing a very Merry Christmas and our very best wishes for the New Year to all our followers.
Another year has gone by, which has been made joyful through the many interactions and friendships we have made and shared with you and others.
