Last year, Microsoft made $101 billion in profits, got a $12.5 billion tax break from Trump & paid its CEO $96 million.
This year, it’s raising the price of an Xbox by $150 & eliminating 3,200 jobs.
Please don’t tell me corporate tax breaks create jobs. It never trickles down.
What people aren’t realizing about the rescinded red card is that the issue isn’t whether it was the right call or not. It’s that Trump is seen as having called in a favor. Whatever the outcome, FIFA’s reputation has been tarnished, and the U.S. team will be viewed by many as cheaters.
Once knocked out I can’t wait for Americans to claim no one in their country actually cares about the World Cup after they spent 24 hours celebrating in bipartisan unison that their president actively interfered in the tournament.
THE ODYSSEY: Visceral cinematography by Hoyte van Hoytema that plunges you into the depths of the sea and the epic. Ludwig Göransson seals it with a primitive, brutal score. Pure immersion.
It's really interesting, film criticism.
Nolan: takes liberties and gets crucified.
Eggars: slave to historical accuracy and gets crucified.
A bit of audience criticism: you people are miserable fucks.
@BillBrasky11@Freestone1Ryan@emkenobi No, that’s the story you told. Their story actually has no physical descriptions for this fictional character that never existed.
Amazing how the World Cup was doing a legitimately good job of bringing the world together and rehabilitating the USA’s reputation, now all anybody will remember is Trump’s political interference. The world is indeed united, but now it’s against the American cheats. Such a shame.
