This loyal sheepdog was trembling with fear, yet he refused to abandon his duty. The constant fireworks terrified him and sent the entire flock into a panic, leaving him unsure of how to help.

Even though he was frightened, he bravely stayed by the sheep's side, as if he were telling them, "It's okay. I'm here to protect you."

It was an incredibly selfless act. Despite being scared himself, he put the safety and comfort of the sheep before his own. ❤️🐶🐑

found a lost dog in the park with no collar just vibing near the fountain.
Me: Hey buddy.
Dog: (wags tail)
Me: You lost?
Dog: (sits)
Called animal control.
They said two-hour wait.
Me: Guess we're hanging out.
Sat with the dog.
He put his head on my lap.
Lady walked over.
Her: That's Gerald.
Me: Your dog?
Her: My neighbor's. He escapes constantly.
Me: Oh.
Her: I'll take him back.
Me: You sure?
Her: Yeah. Happens twice a week.
Me: Why doesn't your neighbor fix the fence?
Her: She's 82. Doesn't see well. Doesn't know he leaves.
Me: That's sad.
Her: I just keep bringing him back.
Me: That's really kind.
Her: She's lonely. Gerald's all she has.
Her: You want to help me walk him back?
Me: Sure.
Met the neighbor.
She cried when she saw Gerald.
Her: I didn't know he was gone.
Lady: I know. That's okay.
Started volunteering to walk Gerald twice a week.
The neighbor makes cookies.
Gerald's stopped escaping as much.
Her: He's happier now.
Me: So am I.
Community is just noticing someone needs help and showing up with their dog.
