@trol_exesas @DannyJamieson According to the interviews a lot of the work was them trying to recreate systems from the old engine in the new one, which took much much longer than they anticipated.
The release had to happen because of the licenses , as they said before they are only valid for that year.

If they had "vibe coded" it likely wouldn't have been delayed and probably would have been much worse.
