In just a few days, The Princess Royal will turn 76. 💙

There are many things I admire about Princess Anne, but perhaps most of all is the way she seems to simply be there.

There for her parents through the years. There for her brothers. There for her children and grandchildren. And there for her nieces and nephews as they have grown into their own lives and roles.

She has never appeared to need the spotlight to show how much she cares. Sometimes love is simply showing up — standing beside your family through celebrations, difficult moments, enormous changes and ordinary days.

And through it all, Anne has remained unmistakably Anne: strong, hardworking, loyal, wonderfully no-nonsense and entirely her own person.

As her 76th birthday approaches, that is what I find myself admiring most. Behind The Princess Royal is a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt who has spent a lifetime quietly being there. 💙

Just a few more days until we celebrate her. 👑
