So excited to announce that our longest stay, Chief, is going home tomorrow! A surprise for one of our special adopters so we had to keep it quiet until Santa Paws had delivered the message!! It's made our Christmas and we are so grateful that he is getting such a special home!!

Yogi is 3yrs old and needs a special home. A lovely dog, but not suitable for a home with young children as he likes his own space. Loves his food, very affectionate and clean in his kennel. Slightly strong on lead at the moment but would quickly improve in a home setting.

This cheeky boy is Micky2. A lovable 4 yr old chap who is quite small in stature and very friendly. He is clean in his kennel, will make a great addition to any home and will be taken for his trip to the town as soon as possible (to see how he reacts to life beyond kennels)!

Lovely Arnie has sadly been returned and is looking for a home without any close proximity to other breeds. He is just 7yrs old, house-trained, good with children and a loving boy, but he is strong so will need an experienced home with someone who has had greyhounds before.

Chief (and his teddy bear) are desperate to find a new home before the winter sets in. He is our longest stay boy and really deserves a chance to find a loving home now. Clean in his kennel, loves everyone, plays football, but just needs some more care around other breeds.

Our next event is the annual Easter Show on Easter Monday 22nd April at the Kennels. A fun dog show with the infamous "Easter Bonnet/hat" parade. Make a hat for your dog to wear for five minutes in the 'best hat/bonnet' category. Prizes for all categories and Best in Show!

Pup is a happy chap who walks nicely on the lead and will be tested around other breeds as soon as possible. He isn't a puppy (though he is a young boy at only 3yrs old), but his name is a derivation of his racing name. He would love a kind home to call his own

Murphy is a young dog who loves a cuddle and needs short, gentle walks only. He would best suit a retired person or someone who works from home. He is confident, friendly and outgoing - neutered, microchipped and comes with four weeks free pet insurance.

Homing in July/August is understandably slow but we are still in need of loving homes for all those in kennels and those waiting to come in! This is Nell who is patiently waiting for a loving home. It's the last day of heat today so time to get thinking about adopting a dog!

Walk cancelled! We are cancelling (or postponing) our walk at Butlers Retreat, Chingford, originally scheduled for this sunday. Due to the hot weather, it's too dangerous to go ahead so we'll reschedule when know the heatwave is ending! Please tell anyone planing to go!

Surely there's someone who'll love Red. Red is 7 years old and is confident and happy. A cuddly boy who looks slightly older than his years! Clean in kennel, house-trained, a blanket lover! Red did 3 three months in a scheme in which prisoners look after greyhounds. He thrived!

Our annual walk and greyhound gathering at the Butlers Retreat, Chingford, E4 is happening on Sunday 29th July. 3pm. Join us for a walk around the lake and refreshments and chat under the trees. See you there!
