After being stranded in the Dominican Republican two days past my expected departure day. I file a complaint with @AmericanAir as instructed by the cs representative. I get this generic response.

I had to pay $670 for a Delta flight back home. Completely unacceptable AA

@AmericanAir My departure was not due to winter storm fern. My flight was to CLT then DFW so if anything the effects of Fern would have taken place at CLT not PUJ. Flight 1899 was continuous delayed then cancelled at 10pm every night. Delta was able to fly me into DFW without any issues.
