So LeBron is a better scorer than Kobe because he has more 40pt Finals games?
LeBron record when scoring 40 points in the Finals is 3-5. Most of those against the small ball Warriors. Yet somehow LeBron scoring a lot despite being dominated by the Warriors has increased his legacy.

LeBron’s highest scoring Finals run (34PPG) in 2018 resulted in a sweeping 0-4 against Warriors who was just letting him score and pad his stats while losing and it’s celebrated as the feather in his cap to his career. His fans make his career a legacy of LOSING and I hate that for him.

Lebron has 1 championship run where he averaged over 30PPG in 2012. Shows you all that scoring he did when getting blown out or losing was extremely overrated. LeBron scoring a lot was never a winning formula. And he never put up the numbers Kobe did while winning chips. LeBron is not a better playoff scorer than Kobe. He played against way lesser competition in the East and just ran up stats while losing to the Warriors 🤷🏾‍♂️
