Winthrop 12 Ipswich 0. Sr Tim Vargus throws 5 innings of 2 hit ball and 7 K’s. 11 hits on the day led by Sr Matt Noonan who was 3 for 3 with 5 RBI’s, Sr Matthew Reardon who was 2/3 Soph Joe Pumphret 2 Hits & a 3B. Team Win.

Dropped a tough one to Peabody 9-8. Good start by Sr Philly Boncore who also had 3 RBIs. Battled in the 7th scoring 5 runs. Soph Danny Connolly and Fr Carmine Deprisco first career hits. Sr Matt Noonan 2 RBIs as well. Soph Michael Dambrosio on base 3 times.

Todays game at Manchester Essex has been moved to Sunday April 27th at 12. The game will be played at Essex Center Memorial Park Baseball Diamond

Varsity Drops a game at Salem 11-5. Seniors Will Murphy and Matt Noonan 2B and RBI Each. Jojo Pumphret with 2 hits along with Philly Boncore singling. Solid relief from Captain Matt Reardon.

JVs gets a win 20-2 over Salem. They continue to improve every game.

Game vs Medford ends 3-3 after 8 innings due to darkness. Good game between the two teams. Senior Timmy Vargus 6 Innings on the mound with 9 Ks. Sophomore Ryan Murphy with his first career varsity hit. Game will be made up TBD.

Both baseball games vs Medford have been cancelled today. Games will be rescheduled to Home Thursday 4/17 @ 4:30. Varsisty Practice at the High School 9:30 in the gym.
