On Wednesday afternoon December 6, 2023, Waltham Police Officer, Paul Tracey tragically lost his life while doing what he loved most, protecting and serving the citizens of Waltham. Paul is a lifelong Waltham resident who served our city for 28 years. Beyond his duties, Paul was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a pillar of our community. His kindness and gentle spirit touched everyone he met, and his absence will be deeply felt by all. We send our sincerest condolences to the Tracey family and all those who have been affected by this tragedy.
Those who wish to pay their respects to Paul and his family can do so this week, on Thursday & Friday. Please plan ahead. It is anticipated these services will bring a large number of area Police Officers & guests to our city. Here is a quick run-down of what to expect: https://t.co/ciQ1830meK
