Pending board approval, we are excited to announce Austin Blythe as the next head football coach at Williamsburg. A 2011 Williamsburg graduate, Coach Blythe is excited to carry on the strong tradition of Raider football!
A huge thank you to this group as they helped with landscaping, mulch, & painting lines this morning. Such a great partnership between Bayer & Williamsburg Community Schools.
Raiders pick up a road win at Indee. 70-31. Defense was very solid tonight and the offense had the ball moving to find the open guy. Big upcoming week to finish out the regular season!
I wanted to give a shout out to our latest migrant graduate, Ana Andrade. Ana was able to finish up all her classes before Christmas break and is now an official graduate of Williamsburg Community Schools. If you see Ana around, please wish her well wishes. Congratulations Ana!
This is my brother btw. He is a sweet kid and worked his tail off for this. Its gonna rock having him close 😃. His interest are in mathematics, computer science, and I couldn't stray him away from bioinformatics/genomics. Drop him a follow or suggestions of people to follow.
The feeling of getting into @Princeton for GS was surreal. Today my brother @ErnestoJMoreno just matched with Princeton through @QuestBridge. To think that my family would have one PU educated person seemed impossible. Now that there are going to be two of us, we all cried.
Thank you very much to @UWECI and @HACAP_ for donating educational supplies and 25lb boxes of non perishable foods. We are excited to deliver these to our migrant families today! @garber_chad
Congratulations to @Mdegner1 for being recognized as the recipient of the Texas Migrant Interstate Program 2019 Interstate Coordination Partner Award...recognition for his outstanding contribution to the educational needs of our shared migrant students! Well done, Mr. Degner!
New: CLEP testing through the University of Iowa is allowing our migrant students to gain college and high school credit. Please see the migrant advocate for updates and how to get signed up!
ISU’s insect zoo rolled into Mary Welsh Elementary today. That isn’t a wrist watch on his hand. Today’s experience was a little more “hands on learning” than we bargained for. These bugs were actually on our kids’ hands!
