@ParathyroidUK In our study we didn't change patients' diet. I agree that dietary changes can alter Ca doses. No calcium regimen can be applicable to selected patients. We also used this method for 2 or 3 patients in our clinic.

We also pointed out this issue in our article. Our results was short-term (3 months) results so Ca doses couldn't optimised well. With better optimising Ca, i suppose urine Ca will drop.

Several emergency visits, sc injections. With this approach they are now free from injections and emergency visits and disturbing symptoms. So all of them still visit us 😉

Only one patient with pseudo-hypoPT included this study. She/He was using >6000mg/day oral calcium carbonate. After alternate-day approach, calcium doses dropped to <2000mg/day. 👍

New pts with challenging hypoPT are added. When we reach appropriate number, we will publish their progress too. 2 pts who stopped rhPTH are very happy ;) They're free from injections 👍
