I see where he is coming from in the argument and somewhat agree. As a creator I see the problem of a major corporation joining a place to mainly help indie and small creators; on the flip side I do see the use of crowdfunding as a mean of reaching new audience in a new market.

It's willful ignorance to think that the argument is about money taken from someone's campaign, instead of corporations getting involved in a site meant to help independent creators funded.
