Sometimes it feels like no matter how hard you push, you just can’t keep up.
That’s not laziness.
That’s not a lack of willpower.
That’s executive dysfunction.
You’re not failing—you’re burned out.

Not every backpack is filled with books.
Some carry fear.
Some carry grief.
Some carry the weight of a parent’s pain.
Be gentle. You never know what a child is carrying.
To all my educators, parents and kiddos out there

Kindness isn’t a transaction. It’s not about what you get back. It’s about who you choose to be — even when it’s not returned.
Some people can’t receive softness. That doesn’t mean your kindness was wasted.

Connection can mean a lot of things.
Just feeling visible is hard some days.
Especially those who are neurodiverse. Connection feels out of grasp often.
What would a “heart haven” look like to you?

You’re not alone in your grief. 🕯️
Grief can be incredibly isolating — whether it’s the death of a loved one, a pet, a relationship, or even the loss of who we thought we’d be by now.
And for those of us who are neurodivergent, it can feel even harder to open up. #grief#adhd
The scariest, “I need some help”.
it seems so simple, everyone understands, right?
….but,it can seriously feel like this sometimes.
Nothing is wrong with you. Promise. Confidence is built like a muscle and you have to practice to build it. That’s okay.

It’s easy to compare…but try not to. Your growth won’t be the same as others.
Meme transcript:
Just because you don’t see the growth yet, doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
Keep working and have patience. Growth can take a long time.

What creative things do you come up with to make things more fun to do?
Carrying some chalk around seems like an easy enough thing to do. 😉
Earth Day is coming up: Tuesday, April 22, 2025

Go rock hunting and paint rocks to hide as Easter eggs.
No need to buy actual eggs.
*number the rocks so you make sure you get them all!*
You can also add different $ amount on the bottom and give them change for each.💰

When you have a retro loving kiddo + want to put motivation in to a print for them. And for real, who doesn’t love pac man?!
We were talking about something very familiar, splitting attention up into too many things at a time.
One small goal at a time.

When you're all over the place and trying to narrow in on one thing at a time so you can get all the things on your to-do list done.... You take a moment to make your cats a gourmet snack to re-center. Tuna surprise with a garnish by Temptations treats.

I'm glad you got a reset, the restful sleep you needed. I'm glad I have grown enough to realize you needed some help and not more responsibility after another full day feeling exhausted.

Yesterday morning you were mad at me. I was going to make you clean your own room and make your own bed. Then I realized it was overwhelm, and sleep deprivation. So, I cleaned your room and made your bed for a fresh start. You laid down after school and slept 12 hours.

*oops* ...Living with regrets is a terrible way to live. Living with the feeling that you'll regret something is also terrible.
No matter the situations, it's our own choice to have our own perspective about our life.

I grew up being told contradictory things and taking pieces of everyone’s perspective around me. As an individual, and now a parent, you have to figure out how you want to be living. You are enough and you are a great parent. “Build your own house.”
