Bog Babies at Ysgol Estyn! 🦎🐲 Last week, students got creative sculpting mythical bog babies as part of the Newt Networks project.

Funded by the Nature Networks Programme via @HeritageFundUK, this project boosts resilience for protected great crested newt sites in NE Wales. ��

⚠️ Storm Update ⚠️

We continue to assess and clear the damage at our nature reserves caused by the last Fridays storm. We have a number of trees down across our reserves, so please take care when using wooded areas.

Hedgelaying at Spon Green 🌿

Hedgelaying creates vital habitats and shelters to wildlife by cutting and bending stems of shrubs - a skill that has been practised for hundreds of years.

First session back at Trefnant, and the volunteers were straight into the ponds for some much needed maintenance 🌾

It was the final session before Christmas for our Trefnant volunteers last week, so they spent it making lovely Christmas wreaths around the fire.
