@EddieMcstriplin did people really do that or was that just some bullshit they put on the packaging
i cant really think of any practical reason to do that unless you operated a really bad counterfeiting ring
@duck_twacy i gotta interrogate you cuz i might need to know this
suppose mr. elodeon says to you "we need a monster character", are you legally allowed to draw from a mood board with copyrighted chatacters like "i want it to be impish like the whammy" or is that too risky
i never had the banjo tooie strategy guide so i didnt know the nintendo power guide used an earlier build for some of the screenshots (note the placeholder headshot from bk)
other screenshots use the final headshot, really weird
i accidentally found out about barney's army
barney is well designed and its pretty impressive for the late 70s but damn this is terrifying

@RandomMediaCaps https://t.co/CBigeINi8E
there were(?) original bridges, or at least partially original
i wouldnt be surprised if at least some of this was recycled animation
i cant find the original source but it was from a local kidvid show called barneys army (not rubble)
@RandomMediaCaps i wouldnt be surprised if these are from something else, like a pebbles commercial and some other 1977 series but thats how it was auctioned and i dont think any episodes are available even tho it was distributed into the 80s
every other classic comedy team did one or pitched one but i suppose unlike the stooges the bowery boys were playing characters and couldn't freely license the brand out
speaking of which i wish they had made a bowery boys cartoon or comic book, some kind of regular series
i would say a tv show like mick & myer but considering the way things were with leo gorcey and how bernard gorcey had passed away id rather not have just sach again
