Come on @michaelgove@DefraGovUK. Nice try to slip out #badger cull extension alongside alleged "good news" on national parks. We need #evidence-based policies for the #environment please. https://t.co/q7BfSQN8i3
Poor badgers. When will the Tories learn: murdering animals isn't a vote winner? It's a good question when everything is being done by the Tory party to rid themselves of their uncaring image: It's a good article please read and share.

What has angered me most about @nature_scot licensing the cull of Ravens on grouse moors with histories of raptor persecution is the absolute betrayal. They are MEANT to protecting wildlife not encouraging its slaughter. Please write to Mike Cantlay [email protected] and ask WTF ?
When they ripped out the hedgehog habitat here and began building I asked them to watch out for hedgehogs and to put holes in the new houses fences. Never got a reply. It’s all about money not wildlife #Countryfile
Good to see the focus now on changing farming practices & improving habitat for Hedgehogs including more hedgerows wildlife corridors & dead wood on farms on Countryfile rather than demonising badgers let’s stop playing badger blame game @BadgerTrust @BBCCountryfile
So BBC Countryfile give the badger hating head of Farmers Union of Wales plenty of time to demonise badgers & blame them for hedgehog decline whilst failing to interview Badger Trust on programme to give balance very disappointing @BBCCountryfile @BadgerTrust
The badger cull is a failed costly & cruel attempt to lower bovine TB in cattle but BBC Countryfile tried pretty hard tonight to turn this into a debate on killing badgers to protect hedgehogs which is hard to believe & completely unjustified @BadgerTrust @BBCCountryfile
