Finished my first semester of my BSN last month. Got an email congratulating me on making Honor Roll. So excited that I’m surviving. Now on week 2 of my 2nd semester and 3 to go 🤞🏽I feel so blessed 🥹 72/120 credits down 48 to go. Feeling blessed 🙏🏼

Got an MRI done a week ago and for years the VA has said my back injury was a “strain”.. nah my peeps I got a bulging disc that’s compressing my fucking nerves and I also have arthritis 🙃 I thought I was nuts turns out I just have a fucked up back 🤣

And just so we are clear this is also a reason why veterans don’t trust the healthcare system because staff that gives a fuck is pushed away and mistreated thus only leaving the staff that could care less about them makes total sense right? 🙃

Tell me why I got into healthcare in order to make a difference and help others, but you know other nurses want to eat their young….

But management isn’t ready for that talk, high turnover rates because you harass your staff and pick on primarily the veteran population of your staff is unsat. Dimming their light and triggering their PTSD by constantly stalking them in the workplace yup that’s how you do it 🖕🏼

I wonder why things people say to break you stick with you long after time has passed since the interaction…Maybe it’s because that was the point. Life with PTSD is a doozy 🙃

I just wanted to share my friends go fund me, she is a great mother that has always put her babies first even through all the abuse her ex put her through. She had moved back to California last year but however California court lost jurisdiction because she had previously… /1
