@kevhillsy My Grandad always told the story to a younger me, that one of the prematch balls rolled his way sitting alongside the pitch. He popped the ball in the end of his euphonium, put the cover on it and smuggled it out tbe ground. What a legend!!
Not a photo Ive seen before but that's my Grandad, back row 2nd from right. Also my great uncle, front row far right. Spurs through the generations and always in my blood! Hopefully all these old boys are pulling strings from above tomorrow!!
There have been numerous VAR reviewed decisions this season where the final call has left pretty much everyone completely baffled. I have sympathy for the pressure, we all should but there have been calls that everyone can agree on that have been missed so often. It’s mad.
...and we are possibly trying to wring every penny out of Inter Milan, so common sense to big up Vic, rather than devalue him. The team sheet tomorrow will tell the real story!
@Lilywhite_Rose@SamWallaceTel If he wouldn't take the job with 9 games to go, why would anything have changed now there is only 7 games left. Surely this is old news!
@Simongates251@LastWordOnSpurs@MartinLipton Simon, our only hope now is to get lucky for once! Lucky with our next appointment, and lucky with WH being more shit than us! How did it ever come to this?
@Billie_T Do you think that this week, the penny may have finally dropped, that we're not just customers!! This togetherness between the club and fans, should not just be a one match thing!!
@SamiMokbel_BBC The most critical couple of months in the clubs history, the millions/billions of £s that could be gained/lost, our esteemed leaders have put Bill & Ben, the flower pot men in charge of the most important decision that could sink the club! They are thick as shit!!
@AlasdairGold I can only assume they have to book these things in and it doesn't mean that he will be sitting in the hotseat on Friday. Surely, they are talking to another (any) alternative. Give it to Mason, Dyche, Ben Davies, Benny Hill in fact.......
@_PaulHayward@DJMarkBurrows Is this just a Spurs problem? I'm conscious that THFC have had a revolving door since Poch, but are there any stats for average length of employment before termination, for Prem managers. With the exception of LFC, MCFC and AFC, the average must be 1-2 years.
