This is GRITS' #A387831 story--a Lab/Dachshund mix who had the WRONG owner. He's in ROUGH shape--HW; old, untreated injury; green eye discharge.,

Imagine him throwing himself against the bathroom 🚪--crying, whimpering, desperate.

By some Miracle, he was found & for some 💥INCOMPREHENSIBLE💥 reason, the owner was called.

He said he no longer wanted GRITS. That much was OBVIOUS.

The owner goes free.

GRITS faces death🪦at #CorpusChristiACS unless we raise enough Pledges to Rescue him.

🚨 Last call for Phantom, now under kill command. Arrived w/ an injured front leg early May; scanned chip+. There is a vague report Phantom was in a conflict w/ another dog outside apt bldg. Initially aloof, Phantom now shows a softer side w/ familiar staff, greeting w/ loose wiggly body, accepting treats & enjoying attn. Earned 2nd best behavior rating, looking to be a solo pet.
