Chappelle Roan please make a song about how bad the iPhone battery life is now so that there is a decent chance the iPhone XX is the god tier computer I am wishing for
Wow today has been really crazy, so many emotions. $fxh went really smoothly, and they we released $ciphrd with Generations. Emotional rollercoaster.
Feels good to be back 😀
We've been working day & night for many months now, sometimes we forget how great it feels to release something unique and connect with friends sharing same interests.
Thanks to everyone who's participated (& to all that will). Sorry for the backend issues we've experienced, launching large scale systems on blockchains is always really complex and it's hard to cover all fronts in the testing phases. We fixed most of the issues so the minting experience from now on will be much smoother 😀
Also excited to see how people are gonna be exploring evolutions. So far only a few have been venturing on that front — it's all very new, many great surprises ahead.
Will take the evening to cool off, and will share more about Generations & the fxh protocol in the days to come.
On Wednesday, June 25th, Heft Gallery welcomed over 400 guests for a lively opening night of our second group show, Groundwork. Despite the heat wave, guests arrived for an evening filled with art, cocktails, dumplings, and joyful conversations with friends old and new.
Echoing the algorithmic nature of generative art, we invited guests to follow a set of instructions when signing our special wandaguestheft (wall guestbook, in German), as a collective creative endeavor in participation and process.
Groundwork presents 30 works by 26 artists who explore procedural systems as a means of developing new visual languages. Through experiments in process, material, and the embedded intelligence of systems, the artworks emerge in diverse forms ranging from algorithmic plots and woven canvases to ceramic vessels, Polaroids, cast plaster, and marble sculpture.
More moments from the opening can be viewed through link in bio.
