@UsagiKaede1 I'm not saying it's a good card. Just that it that requires set up. Reason this card is the most removed from precons is because it's being put into precons where it has no synergy. I'm sure you could say the same of One With Nothing if it was shoved in every precon with black.
@BasedDeckDept 2013 Commander deck. Prossh, Skyraider of Kher was the face commander, with Shattergang Brothers and Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper as alternatives. My first purchase when getting into EDH. Bought my brother the Bant one so we could go to the newly forming scene in our area way back.
@nestapendragon Objectively though, the best way to LEARN the game is through a 1v1 format with a friend first, then transition to EDH if desired. It's how I taught my teenage daughter and she has progressed far smoother than anyone I've met that jumped straight into EDH.
@Natterforme@nestapendragon Enchanting a single land with multiple Fertile Ground style effects and using land untappers like Arbor Elf is my favorite way to ramp.
@KaedeTheBee@G0ffThew To be fair, sometimes the author doesn't know what they're talking about. Especially when referencing concepts they're only somewhat familiar with or characters they haven't wrote for.
@Newt_Chaos @Coffy_Cat @Je11yfiiish@rXqw64@AlderDSBlue You doubt the main factor that differentiates your experience with a video game you've never played and the experience of anyone that has played it is having played the game?
@cody_delonge@animegirl3773 Let's keep the examples to art please. Video games are unique as an art form because engaging with the medium, and therefore the fan base, requires at minimum, interaction with said medium. A concert is not even the main way to engage with a band's art.
@AlderDSBlue Every hobby has barriers to entry, and a lot of the time this includes economical hurdles. I would never fault anyone for finding ways to mitigate those barriers, but they still exist. And if you lack the means or the will to fully engage with the hobby, then thems the breaks.
