Join us alongside @MelatKirosCO this Thurs. 6/11 @ 5pm MT as we call DSA members to raise some socialist cash!
Capitalist cash is flowing into this race to stop a working class fighter from going to Congress. We need your help to get Melat over the finish line 🫵

There's no point in building better reformist parties if there's no route to them becoming parties that can actually deliver socialist transformation and improve the lives of ordinary people. https://t.co/H3TZ9qvKcA
I think its hyper-idealistic to view DSA's structures and culture of internal democracy as just a thing it happens to have - a "bureaucracy" in contrast to mass political action - and not a key part both in its relative success compared to the rest of the US left in growing and -
biggest issues i have with the Geese ppl (hi oomfs) in relation to DSA is that they 1. seemingly refuse to accept that chapters have inherently finite, varied capacities 2. Seem to think DSA structures are ontologically evil and have no good effects whatsoever
@harbingerofwoke the winning % is more significant than just racking up victories in other words; the solution is to build our machine and the argument to make is to take bigger swings, not swing wildly
@harbingerofwoke Slightly diff thing but the data we have on record doesn't really bear out any organizational/concrete benefit to endorsements w/o significant DSA presence in the campaign, especially ones that lose. Hard to tell vibes effect but that's a much different and harder arg to make
Adriano Espaillat & Andrew Cuomo want to crucify us for the crime of posting as tweens. All we hear from them is puritanical & punitive; is there nothing celebratory & joyous? Or is query naive? Can people who have not spent their entire lives running for office have a chance?
Russia is (again) way ahead of the global curve as instead of relying on 19th century memes like "patrotism" they just pay the salaries the invisible hand of the market demands for unlimited men as drone fodder (Its about the same as upper-middle-level company management).
