You take away a 3-9 season (which doesn’t even count with the state of the program) and he’s 8-5 without 2024. The future is Way more promising than worrisome.

I love Coach Dillingham and think he’s an unbelievable coach, but the record matters too: take away that one great season and he’s 14–16. Same thing with Jedd Fisch at Arizona before his breakout season, he was 6–18. One great year can change the conversation, but the rest of the résumé still counts.
