@runfromphilly@seanston42 Nope. New Jack had elements of hip hop in it. It wasn’t just R&B. It was a fused with hip hop. This is why artists could rap over New Jack Swing songs. See Heavy D as an example
You’re asking the wrong question: How is it that white people do not understand that voting overwhelmingly Republican hasn’t improved their lives in decades? Republican presidents have been responsible for the last 5 recessions. The job creation under Republicans vs Democrats in the last 50 years isn’t even close. Trump has given the 1 percent the wealthiest tax cut in history. Republican-led states such as Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas and Louisiana rank in the bottom in every important metric. Donald Trump is the most corrupt president in American history and overwhelmingly supported by white voters.
But you’re coming at Black voters?
When people say “you should respect the office of the President” but what if the President doesn’t respect you?
How do you reconcile that?
It’s just a job. No one is a god. Respect is earned not given.
As @JayBilas correctly points out, there’s a lot of hypocrisy in college athletics right now.
It’s only when athletes begin to get paid that it’s necessary to have a federal law to “save college sports.”
@mcuban I agree with what you said except when you said, the one thing people will never pay off is healthcare insurance premiums. You need to add student loan debt as the other debt that people will never pay off.
@CarlBanksGIII All you need to do is go look at the 1990 NFC Championship game. He covered Jerry Rice. As a fan we really took for granted how good Mark Collin’s was.
