Milwaukie Bay Park just got delayed… again.
This project would transform our waterfront. After 18 months of negotiation I thought we were finally close.

The Monroe Street Greenway is one step closer to completion! This project creates a safer connection across Milwaukie for walking and biking.

Last month Metro unanimously approved $10 million of grant funding to help remove Kellogg Dam. Removing this damn dam will create acres of natural space and provide access Milwaukie Bay Park and the Trolley Trail without having to cross a highway. 🚴 https://t.co/5QQHuiG671

Housing policy is complex, and there’s no single solution that will “fix” the issue. But when it comes to housing we need to BUILD more.

Went on the first of many Bike Milwaukie community rides last weekend! As a city, we’ve done a lot to make our streets safer, but there’s still plenty of work to do. Politics aside, doing a community bike ride makes for a great weekend and I can’t recommend it enough 🤗

Biked to PDX for the first time this weekend! I know it’s nerdy to say, but living somewhere with great active transportation and transit options is so fun (and cheap considering the money I saved on an Uber)! 🚴🏼‍♂️
