Amazing thing about Kevin Durant is he is averaging more minutes per game as he ages. Averaged more MPG in Houston and Phoenix than in Brooklyn or Golden State.

He averaged 36.6 MPG during his age 33-37 season — 2nd-highest in the NBA behind Fred VanVleet. KD + Luka are the only players to average 35+ MPG each of the last 5 seasons.

When asked about his minutes load last season, Kevin Durant pushed back saying he's better on the floor and he trains to play big minutes.

The team has talked about lowering his playing time but KD says he's ready to play as much as he needs to help the team win.

Amen Thompson admitted that he didn't think he deserved a spot on one of the All-Defense teams last year.

Said he came into the season believing it was a foregone conclusion. Now, he knows it will require a different level of focus.

Bey's deal is fully guaranteed with no options, per a league source

Saddiq Bey has agreed to sign a three-year, $55.5 million contract extension with the Pelicans, a source confirmed. ESPN was first to report.

Bey averaged 17.7 points and 5.6 rebounds in his first season with New Orleans. Pels brass are huge fans of Bey on and off the court. And he's still only 27 years old.
