@PanthersHighlts It’s a preseason game. It’s better to make mistakes now than week 1. Being sharp now doesn’t equal regular season success. The issue in the past was not playing in preseason. If they play 3 times (good or bad) it’s a win. Play bad now and then be able to play sharp Week 1.

@dacornerman There is a higher chance living in Europe as a kid to be on the USMT team than doing the HS/college route with no academies. Like Roldan had to be the HS player of the year and played in the MLS for 10 years to make the team. And a lot of soccer fans did not want him to play.

@dacornerman Freese wasn’t gonna play soccer originally. GK seemed like our weakest spot. Academies are important for development and putting barriers on low/middle income families hurts talent development.
