I’m not pro-war. But I’m also not naïve.

For over 40 years, Iran’s leadership has publicly chanted “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.” Not once. Not occasionally. For decades.

People say it’s just because of U.S. involvement in the Middle East. Fine. But if that’s the full explanation, why isn’t every developed country in the region chanting the same thing? Why is this rhetoric so consistent and so specific?

At what point do we stop pretending this is just political theater?

If someone openly threatens you for 40 years, builds weapons, funds your enemies, and repeatedly declares who they want destroyed — how long are you supposed to ignore it?

You can oppose reckless wars and still recognize that sustained, declared hostility has consequences.

Self-defense isn’t extremism. Ignoring long-term threats isn’t wisdom.

@bdub110 @krassenstein An AR-15 is just a firearm, not even the most effective one. Its funny how everyone thinks it’s a magic killing machine. It’s an old design that people just like because it’s relatively cheap. The military doesn’t use AR-15s because they have more capable and deadly weapons now.

@krassenstein I think we should ban alcohol, how many deaths are related to alcohol. We can also ban knives, hammers, bats and any object used to kill. Or provide mental health support to the one thing that needs it. The person commenting these acts.

@DeenoBean @krassenstein The reason you can’t stop school shootings is because you are looking for the solution in the wrong place. It’s not the guns doing the killing it’s young people with mental health issues or criminals that shouldn’t be on the street in the first place.

I have noticed a small group of people that are not giving up the mask wearing. Even when it's barely hanging on their face, not even covering the nose or mouth. My question is why.
