@LynnT919@CALUSA18@chiproytx Under current House rules, a quorum is simply a majority of sworn members. Correct my math if I'm wrong, but there are 435 current members, so a quorum is 218. 104 Ds+80 Rs=184. 435-184=251, so by House rules, there was a quorum.

@RealGlennWhite@CRob7@AdamSchefter Bama's resume still doesn't match TCU's. TCU is still 5-1 against Top 25, 1-1 against Top 10. Alabama 3-2 against Top 25, 0-2 against top 10.
@TroubledMxn@wayne1861 Are you completely overlooking Top 25, Top 10, and common opponent to put Bama in over TCU? TCU 5-1 v Top 25, 1-1 v Top 10, Bama 3-2 v Top 25, 0-2 v Top 10 and TCU beat Texas by more in Austin than Bama did when Bama played most of the game against TX back-up QB.
@cwgraham7 @texasbeast307 @JayhawkTakeover@CSimmsQB Also, TCU went 5-0 against top 25 teams, Alabama 3-2. TCU finished 1-1 against top 10, Alabama 0-2.
@MPersellin70@AdamSchefter It is, but Texas also had more game film to prepare for TCU than they did against Alabama. Alabama didn't deserve to get in this year. Plain and simple. Of they want guaranteed playoff spots before expansion, maybe they should join the PAC-12, Conference USA, or the AAC.
@RealGlennWhite@CRob7@AdamSchefter I know Alabama had 2 escape Austin against a back-up QB w/a 1 point win, lost 2 Tennessee @ home & then 2 LSU in OT. Meanwhile TCU beat TX in the same stadium by 7 playing against Ewers, went 5-1 against top 25 teams & played yesterday while Bama sat @ home hoping for a miracle.
@MPersellin70@AdamSchefter Alabama played most of the game against Texas's back-up QB. TCU played against their starter. Are you suggesting Saban can't get his team fired up for an obvious rowdy crowd for the biggest game of the first week of the season?
@NickMillerrrrr @osu_cowboy @DominicInsinna@CSimmsQB Are you suggesting Texas couldn't manage to get motivated to play an undefeated conference foe at home? Or Texas doesn't prepare in the off-season for conference opponents?
@RealGlennWhite@CRob7@AdamSchefter I guess Alabama should be happy they aren't in then since TCU makes the Tides 1 point win in Austin look worse than what it really ended up being.
@AgholorPooch@AdamSchefter I don't know if you noticed one of those teams that "shouldn't be in" has a common opponent in the same stadium, and has a better win.
