‘AEGON’S CONQUEST’ has been confirmed as a theatrical ‘Game of Thrones’ film and is set to release after 2027.
The film is written by Beau Willimon, creator of Netflix’s ‘House of Cards’ and writer on Disney’s ‘Star Wars’ series ‘Andor’.

@KRISPY_KREME23@slcmof What are you on about? Can you stop thinking like a fanboy? The proof of concept for a cinematic universe was done in 2012. DC has a made brand and has the budget to do green light anything they want, and world building is their differentiating niche.
@stopthatpedrii The rebellion is better as a memory. Not everything needs to be shown in detail. Same with the conquest, at least with the letter. The Blackfyre rebellion is going to be discussed in detail if Blood & Fire ever gets published so that’s my choice.
@BFreetime It was introduced in ‘82, Claremont wanted the irony of a demon-like mutant holding faith when he took over but David Cockrum resisted for years. The motif of Kurt’s character is that looks are deceiving, his gentle nature and belief in Jesus despite having it tested like in…
@LavenderGhast Thor is a God who’s either loved or hated because of this. And the entire point of Mutants is that they have a specific gene which gives them powers, do I really need to explain their an allegory for bigotry?
@LavenderGhast This doesn’t really make sense, Spider-man and Hulk are very controversial in universe, the FF are loved because they’re explorers who got powers and became celebrities, same with Cap but because of WWII and the rest of avengers are human heroes.
@FanAkko@MasochisticWeeb@MerrickAnd The 2000s was Spider-Man’s decade. Batman Begins grossed $375,587,589. The Sam Rami Trilogy did $2,486,593,928 all together. Not to mention Spider-Man out sold Batman in comic sales by about $3,000,000. Factoring in video games, there are 11
Spider-Man games to Batman’s 8.
@starbursterfilm I believe anyone who uses Letterboxd as a status symbol, judging those as frauds based on which films they enjoy, can never be a film connoisseur.
