@BBCNews Need to fix the bus driver shortage now they are leaving to go HGV driving instead. Oh and care homes once the non jabbed lose their jobs next month.
@GMB@IsabelOakeshott Surely if it was due to brexit, there would also be plenty of housing available, due to workers returning to their home counties. It appears the need for housing has not changed.
@GMB How are they going to staff care homes? National shortage of HGV and bus drivers. Care homes always have vacancies and this will make it worse. I do agree the residents should be protected though. It's a tricky one.
@dhopkins1776 UK cancelling lots of bus services too. Lots going truck driving as they are offering more money to cope with their shortage and many don't want to work with public since covid.
What goes into an average shift driving a lorry?
Thought I would live tweet about my shift tonight. Might be interesting, or not, either way I have few remaining opportunities to show you into a world you may not otherwise ever see.

@ArtemisFotherg1@Stagecoach_West Good point fellow. Beyond me why anyone would want to travel at school times as they have been packed and noisy since time and buses began. They were in 1951 and kids will be kids.
@GMB Gloucester people can't book a local Covid test due to issues with website, they get sent to Newport when there is a centre a mile away https://t.co/YMVrPyaWsV
