Managing scale requires more than just prompts.
We are rapidly moving from using a single specialized agent to orchestrating dozens or even hundreds of specialized entities. And here a real problem arises: Agent Consensus. When Agent A changes the repository code while Agent B simultaneously tries to deploy an old version, the system breaks.
We are solving this through Hierarchical Intent Manifests. We no longer write "Do X." We define the root Intent and let the Central Coordinator (our new Coordination Layer) break it down into atomic, ZK‑verifiable subtasks for specialized agents. This guarantees atomicity and system integrity even at the level of hundreds of parallel operations.
This is not just "smart assistants"; this is Zero‑Noise orchestration. We design the Intents. Agents verify Integrity.
As agents take on more of your workflow, you need a stronger guarantee that your code is secure, isolated, and controlled.
Cloud and local sandboxes for GitHub Copilot allow you to safely experiment with agentic workflows and gives enterprise teams a way to centrally manage policies.
As announced on Microsoft Build, we're deepening our partnership with @GitHub@GitHubCopilot . Over the next few months, we're going to unveil the work we're doing to bring Copilot's agent capabilities closer to the IDE. @JavaAtMicrosoft
Everyone is thrilled about the concept of the A2A economy and agents that write their own code, hire each other, and allocate budgets. But there’s one giant blind spot: where do these agents physically run? Right now, all this “decentralized” and “autonomous” software runs on AWS or Google Cloud servers.
And if your agent makes financial decisions, manages liquidity, or validates medical datasets in DeSci, you need to prove not only the purity of the logic (hello, ZK‑proofs) but also that the execution environment itself hasn’t been compromised.
We’ve hit a wall: how do you prove that the hosting provider didn’t swap the model weights during inference? How do you guarantee that no one tampered with the RAM from the outside? The real shift will happen at the intersection of TEEs (Trusted Execution Environments) and on‑chain logic. When agents start running inside secure hardware enclaves and output not just a result but a rock‑solid cryptographic proof: “This inference took place in an isolated environment, no one interfered, here’s the CPU state hash.”
We are moving from the paradigm of “trust my code” to “trust my silicon.” Until we close this gap, any agent economy will be just a fancy facade over big tech’s centralized kill switches.
You've probably already approved one without realizing it. 👀
Agent-generated pull requests pass the tests and show clean diffs, so you merge. That's exactly the problem.
This checklist catches what they hide: gamed CI, security gaps, and bugs that slip past green checks.
