@ernanipinto@LatinXChem We have been working with species of fungi and bacteria with interesting results. I believe that, in nature, this biodegradation is a consortium task, each one with its major roles. Endophytic because of lignolytic enzymes, which can increase biodegradation of these compounds.

Hi, this is our study “Methylation and biodegradation of organophosphate pesticides and their metabolites by the marine-derived fungus Aspergillus sydowii CBMAI 935” that describes information about the fate of organophosphate pesticides in seawater #RSCPoster#RSCEnv#RSCChemBio
@_ffsodre@LatinXChem This is very difficult to predict. Cypermethrin will be located in the top soil, it is very hydrophobic. Thuringiensis species are commonly isolated from soil and it is already spread in the environment as bioinsecticide. So, it would be safe, and worthy trying an in situ study.
Hi @LatinXChem, this is my work “Biodegradation of the pyrethroid cypermethrin by the commercially available bioinsectide Bacillus thuringiensis Berliner, a new strategy for bioremediation”, #LatinXChem#LatinXChemEnv#Env005.
