π π The year 7 and 8 rugby teams had a tough week in their league fixtures. Despite the losses, the boys played with enthusiasm and determination and have made great progress this season π΅π΅
β½οΈβ½οΈA fantastic result against Blessed Hugh Farringdon saw the year 10 boys football team progress into the 4th round of the National Cup. π΅π΅
ποΈποΈThe Willink golf team did incredibly well in their first competition of the year, finishing 8th in the Berkshire Schools Team Golf Championships. π΅π΅
ππThe Year 10 rugby team kicked off their league campaign in a tightly contested fixture with St Crispins. Unfortunately, the boys dominated for parts of the game but couldnβt convert their opportunities as effectively as their opponents. (Result: 14-7 loss)π΅π΅ππ
π π The year 7 had great fun in their first ever school rugby game with Kingβs Academy Prospect. Fantastic progress made by both sets of players. π΅π΅ππ
β½οΈ β½οΈ The year 10 football team are through to the 3rd round of the national cup after a fantastic win against Maiden Erlegh. π΅π΅β½οΈβ½οΈ
Awesome performance at a local basketball tournament for our KS3 team last night! We played four games, scored 44 points and only conceded 6! These guys showing their hard work in training has paid off! ππ΅π
Well done to our year 7 Rounders team who had one win and one loss in their first Tournament of the Summer. The girls learnt lots and never stopped smiling!
Well done to our new Year 9 Sports Leaders who assisted in running Sports Day at Burghfield St. Maryβs Primary School today. They did a fantastic job in inspiring future Willink students to enjoy athletics events!

π΅πThe Year 10/9 and Year 8/7 cricket teams both travelled to Reading Boys this week for cricket fixtures. Despite losing both games, lots of fun was had and a fantastic attitude and display of sportsmanship shown by all teams. Thank you for hosting @RSSportandPE π΅
