@daringfireball It also allows for ‘better’ memory use since any group not selected is frozen, and they’re not at fault for not tracking which of 20 tabs you are or aren’t using.

I can’t guarantee that’s the thought but it seems like it.

@daringfireball Hi John, I’ve been following your Safari 15 coverage, and the awful state of tabs. In general I agree, but I think you’re missing the effect of tab groups. In design they assume you won’t need more than a few tabs, because groups allow switching.

@humblesupport Just a heads-up, but ‘bulk download’ does not mean open a separate download for every file. It means open one download with an archive of all the files.
