@LFCApproved This isn't how its done though. You do gentle retools season on season, usually supported by the receipt of actual transfer fees. This many leaving at once is too much upheaval. Not to mention Hughes has overseen us missing out on AT LEAST Β£100m in transfer fees across Konate/TAA
@LFCApproved I just don't respect him as a man, and I SUSPECT the players don't either. I know Jurgen was an asbolute unicorn of a human being, and impossible to replicate, but Slot is just not the calibre of bloke I want leading my club. That's the long and short of it for me.
@LFCApproved I understood. Ive just never been this deflated about a coach. I really don't know if I CAN get behind him anymore. His petty nature and vaguely disrespectful remarks about the club's history/standards concern me more than any of the on pitch stuff. I simply dont't want him.
@JDilla19@SomosLos_Rojos Ok, Salah isn't 'bigger than the club', but neither is Slot, and neither is Richard Hughes' misplaced arrogance and inability to just admit he's wrong about the manager.
@JDilla19@SomosLos_Rojos its low-IQ idiots like you, devoid of critical thinking skills & obsessed with 'top red' status who are dragging us down rn. Slot & the current director class are actively running the club and its culture counter to the 'Liverpool way'. Salah isn't the issue here.
@MJJames1985@AYPrivateEye Actual Liverpool fans taking the side of the 'club', and by extension Slot (even if they politically point out they'd replace him), should really have a look at themselves as to the reason behind why they're doing that. A RATIONALE LFC fan supports Mo here.
@MJJames1985@AYPrivateEye Especially if the club won't, & especially if Arne is prepared to continually try & somehow blame his abject failure as a man and coach on Mo. "I can't say what I want to say" while *gripping his chair with white knuckles*. Honestly, people f**k off if they think Mo is the issue.
@KloppEnjoyer14@SkySportsNews We all know why the English media, AND fans, pounce on Mo really. They're always SO fucking ready. Look at the recent local elections and which way things are swinging in this country politically.
@MJJames1985@AYPrivateEye Slot is so disconnected from what it means to be LFC manager that its almost funny. Yet, no sign of him going. Mo DOES understand the culture, the standards, what it means to be a leader here. If privately, they won't do what's obv needed, then I back him to go public like this.
@MJJames1985@AYPrivateEye Slot has repeatedly thrown digs at the club when things aren't going his way "one title in 30 yrs", "we performed in the CL at Liverpool's level". Way I see it, SLOT is the one who is destabilising things. Mo is the only one with the credit in the bank to challenge th gimp.
@AYPrivateEye Also, youre saying "talking gets done on the pitch" about Mo Salah of all people. Given he's 34 & being managed by a complete clown, he's got more than a bit of credit in that bank, don't you think? 1 season where he's not breaking records & he gets shouts like this. Fucking hell
@AYPrivateEye I'm a bit tired of everyone being prepared go in on Salah the first chance they get, despite everything he's given us (wonder why that is eh), and yet, Slot, up until very recently, has completely avoided any critical media spin, and Richard Hughes gets away with fucking murder.
@AYPrivateEye Slot is the one who lacks accountability, not Salah. And honestly? I'd normally agree with the "keep grievances behind closed doors thing" but right now, speaking out against the 'club' is just speaking out against Richard Hughes because he hasn't the spine to do what's needed.
