@Aweztube I've actually been trying to learn better colors for awhile now, so it was really helpful! I'll have to come back to it for a reference every now and then. Really well made tutorial, deserves the attention.
@IndieBinsou However, I think that the social element of MMOs is still a key part of the genre. So many MMOs nowdays feel like a singleplayer game with randoms running around, I think having meaningful interactions with other players is one of the things that makes the genre what it is.
@IndieBinsou I think putting more emphasis on systems is a great idea, since with well developed systems the content you do implement becomes more meaningful, and there's a lot of room for applying design of singleplayer games to an MMO environment.

@JamminDjango I just recently put a fancy pants reference in my game :D. I think these characters will see a resurgence as the people who enjoyed them as kids grow up.
Finally getting to work on some of the new cursed items for Paper Planet. Here's the Heckfire Bullets! They leave trails of fire behind your shots. I have it combined with the homing bullets item to show how the fires synergize with other effects.

@eigenbom I love BOTW! First game I got on my Switch. Since you’re a game designer I‘m obligated to ask the question that’s already been asked a million times, what do you think of the durability of the weapons? I’ve found myself thinking about BOTW’s weapon system’s design a lot recently.
Added a custom cursor and aiming line to Paper Planet. Hopefully this should make it easier to tell what you're aiming at.
