@silverpebble Adding my recommendation for Bio-oil to other peoples. Not cheap but definitely worth using for a few months. Massage it gently around the scar twice a day. Helps with fading but also keeps the skin really supple to avoid that awful tightness as it heals. All good wishes to you
Rescues have had lots of calls for desperately thirsty hedgehogs that have woken up with this warm weather. Please put big dishes of fresh water out for them.
When they come out of the long sleep they need to drink loads.
It is way more important than food.
