“The Nightmare Before Christmas” director Henry Selick says it’s “a little unfair” that Tim Burton gets full credit for the film:
“I always thought his story was perfect, and he designed the main characters. But it was really me and my team of people who brought that to life.”
@chlomodo I got asked for my year of birth for a lucozade and some dog food 🥲 and then got asked why they needed my year of birth. Idk homes, you're the boss here.
I think a group of youths just tried to ask me if I went to *insert random school* but I couldn't hear them over the Frozen 2 soundtrack blaring through my headphones...
Also, I'm a 28 year old man. Don't talk to me.
I would also like to let them know that I'm not some creepy dude that's been secretly following them all day... But also approaching teens? No thank you. I'd rather not even look at them.
Got on the train with a queer teen couple earlier. We got off at the same place. Turns out we're gonna be getting the same train home as well... Am I their Fairy (Non-Derogatory) Godparent?
@lyganthrope Especially useful considering we work with "unusual" names (literally just not Western names) so we usually don't know if the person we're talking to is a guy, gal or non-binary.
One person replied with "he/they" in their sign off the other day and I was like 🤙 hell yeah
@lyganthrope I put mine in my signature from the get go and one of the cis dudes was like "Why'd you do that?" And I was like "it's important to normalise it for those that maybe don't have names that are immediately read as "male" or "female" names" and he was like "oh... Makes sense"
